Nadine Cockrem is a North Queensland country singer/songwriter blending country, indie and soulful influences into heartfelt original music.

Nadine began writing songs and learning guitar at 16, entering country music festival competitions throughout Far North Queensland. After taking a break from music, she returned to performing in her mid-20s as part of the band Girl Radio, singing at live venues throughout Cairns and the surrounding region.

Today, Nadine's focus has returned to what first drew her to music — writing and sharing her own songs. Her work centres on the importance of telling your own stories, creating music that is honest, personal and connected to real life.

Her debut EP, Ember, marks an important step in that journey, bringing together a collection of original songs and introducing the next stage of Nadine's music career.

Alongside music, Nadine is an author and photographer, with creativity continuing to play an important role across her work.
